The day before, cut the dried beef into medium-sized pieces and place it in a container with ice water until it covers all the meat. Refrigerate, changing the water 3 to 4 times.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Ingredients for the Dried Beef:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1kg of dried beef (rump cut);<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 red onions;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 cloves of garlic;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cup of biquinho peppers;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 tablespoons of olive oil;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grated Parmesan cheese.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Ingredients for the Vinaigrette:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 tomatoes;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 large onion;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 bunch of parsley;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup of vinegar;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 tablespoons of olive oil;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salt to taste.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>To serve: French-style bread or toast.<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preparation method:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cook the already desalted dried beef in a pressure cooker for approximately 35 minutes, then let it cool. Using a fork, shred all the meat.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a heated pan, add the olive oil, let it heat up, and add the finely chopped red onion. Saut\u00e9 for 2 minutes and add the crushed garlic. Cook for a few minutes until golden brown, stirring constantly. Add the shredded dried beef and saut\u00e9 for 5 minutes, then add the biquinho peppers and saut\u00e9 for another minute. Turn off the heat and set aside.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a bowl, add the finely chopped onion and tomatoes, mix well. Add the vinegar and olive oil and stir until well combined. Add the parsley.
